Care
Pines are trees that don’t like wet feet. Therefore, pines are put in a drier soil mixture. Usually pines are in Akadama mixed with kiryu. This ensures a drier environment for the roots. The pots of the pine contain a fungal network with which the pine lives in symbiosis. The fungus ensures that the pine is better able to absorb nutrients. A pine needs food to a lesser extent.
